CVOR Nurse in Cape Coral, FL

Skilled registered nurses with experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nursing are needed to support a dynamic surgical team. Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Demonstrated experience in a CVOR setting
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and support staff
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preoperative preparations for cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Circulate and/or scrub for CVOR cases, adhering to established protocols and aseptic techniques
• Monitor patients' condition throughout procedures, communicating updates to the surgical team as needed
• Document patient status, surgical interventions, and all required data accurately
• Support postoperative care, including close monitoring and patient handoff to recovery staff
• Maintain a safe and sterile environment, anticipating needs during complex surgeries
• Respond quickly to emergencies, functioning effectively within a multidisciplinary team
