We are looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant to join our team in Marysville, Washington. This role supports core accounting operations across payables, payroll, reconciliations, tax filings, and month-end close while helping maintain accurate financial records. The ideal candidate brings strong general ledger knowledge, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full accounts payable process, including entering vendor invoices, validating supporting details, and preparing payments for scheduled disbursements.

• Post incoming cash activity such as checks and wire transfers, ensuring receipts are recorded promptly and accurately.

• Perform bank account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to maintain reliable cash records.

• Administer payroll processing and complete related journal entries and account reconciliations.

• Prepare and submit sales and use tax filings on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis as required.

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts each month and resolve outstanding items in a timely manner.

• Contribute to internal and external audit activities by organizing documentation and responding to information requests.

• Support the monthly financial close by preparing entries, reviewing account activity, and helping finalize reporting.

• Maintain insurance certificates and subcontractor agreement records to support compliance and documentation standards.

• Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows and increase efficiency across daily processes.

The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000.

• Experience in a senior-level accounting role with hands-on responsibility for month-end close activities.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Background managing bank reconciliations, payroll accounting, and accounts payable transactions.
• Familiarity with sales tax reporting requirements and multi-period filing schedules.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Proficiency with NetSuite or comparable ERP/accounting systems.
• High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail in financial recordkeeping.
