Position Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Insights & Analytics Practice Lead Life Sciences to establish, lead, and expand a high-performing analytics consulting practice focused on the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.

This strategic leadership role combines practice development, business growth, executive consulting, advanced analytics, and delivery excellence . The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in pharmaceutical commercial analytics, a proven track record of building and scaling consulting practices, and the ability to drive business transformation through data-driven insights, AI, and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Practice Strategy & Leadership

• Define and execute the Life Sciences Insights & Analytics practice strategy, growth roadmap, and service offerings.

• Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams of analytics consultants, data scientists, solution architects, and engagement managers.

• Drive practice performance through revenue growth, profitability, resource utilization, and client satisfaction.

• Establish delivery frameworks, best practices, and innovative analytics solutions.

Life Sciences Commercial Analytics

• Lead strategic analytics initiatives across pharmaceutical commercialization and commercial operations.

• Provide expertise in Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE), HCP segmentation, targeting, and territory optimization.

• Drive omnichannel analytics, market access analytics, commercial forecasting, and patient services analytics.

• Leverage pharmaceutical industry datasets, including IQVIA, Komodo Health, and Symphony Health, to generate actionable business insights.

Advanced Analytics, AI & Digital Transformation

• Lead advanced analytics initiatives involving predictive modeling, machine learning, Next Best Action (NBA), Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), and Generative AI.

• Guide enterprise data modernization and analytics transformation programs.

• Provide strategic direction on cloud-based analytics platforms, data architectures, and AI-enabled business solutions.

• Collaborate with technical teams to develop scalable analytics capabilities using modern data platforms.

Business Development & Client Engagement

• Build and maintain executive-level relationships with pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients.

• Identify new business opportunities, expand existing accounts, and drive consulting revenue growth.

• Lead solution development, client presentations, proposals, and Statements of Work (SOWs).

• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives on commercial analytics strategy and digital transformation.

• Oversee large-scale consulting engagements, ensuring successful delivery, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Life Sciences analytics, pharmaceutical commercial operations, analytics consulting, or enterprise data strategy.

• 5+ years of demonstrated leadership experience managing analytics practices, consulting organizations, or large delivery teams.

• Strong domain expertise in pharmaceutical commercialization, commercial effectiveness, and commercial analytics.

• Proven experience building consulting capabilities, developing service offerings, and scaling analytics teams.

• Demonstrated success in business development, account expansion, and managing multimillion-dollar consulting engagements.

• Strong executive stakeholder management, strategic consulting, and client relationship skills.

• Experience leading advanced analytics, AI/ML, and enterprise data transformation initiatives.

• Excellent communication, leadership, presentation, and business consulting capabilities.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Analytics, or a related discipline.
