Visiting Assistant Professor of Management

Position Overview The E. Craig Wall Sr. College of Business Administration at Coastal Carolina University invites applications for a non-tenure-track Visiting Assistant Professor position beginning in Fall 2026. This is a nine‑month appointment for the 2026–2027 academic year, initially offered as a one‑year term with the possibility of renewal for an additional year. Qualifications Candidates should possess a Ph.D. in management or a closely related field or hold A.B.D. status in management from an AACSB or regionally‑accredited program. The candidate’s academic preparation should qualify them to teach in one or more of the following areas: principles of management, human resources, international management, entrepreneurship, or introduction to business. Candidates should demonstrate recent scholarly engagement (e.g., recent peer‑reviewed publications, conference presentations, or other scholarly activity) consistent with expectations for maintaining academic qualification under AACSB standards. Teaching and Scholarship The teaching load is four courses per academic semester and may include face‑to‑face, hybrid, and/or online deliveries. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence and student engagement through experiential learning and will maintain ongoing scholarly engagement to support academic currency.
