Facility Technician I

Job Description

The Facility Technician I for Denton, TX, will be responsible for completing all assigned warehouse duties in a safe and responsible manner. This is an entry-level position that main job is working on our filter line crew. This is a manual job, bending over / standing for 10+ hours per day, pulling trash and metal from conveyor line (30-50lbs), dumping drums, crushing drums, pumping drums, cleaning around the site, and other job duties as needed. U sually 2 weekends per month, as business demands also this shift does go to 12-hours as needed, as we get busy, sometimes have to modify the 2nd shift

Shift: 1st 5 am-330 pm (Saturdays when business demands)

Pay: $20

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Load and unload route trucks
• Prepare waste loads for shipment to Recycle Center/Distribution Center
• Manage inventory order and receiving process
• General housekeeping and keeping a clean work area
• Ensure waste is stored in safe and proper manner

Qualifications

What does it take to work at Clean Harbors ?

• High School diploma or equivalent required;
• Must be 18 years or older;
• 1+ Years of related experience;
• Fork lift experience preferred (Not Required);
• Ability to use computer;
• Ability to lift 50 or more pounds;
