Overview

A well-established pediatric dental practice in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) to join a fast-paced, team-oriented clinical environment.

The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and able to work efficiently within a busy pediatric setting.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist the dentist during restorative, preventive, and pediatric procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments before patient appointments
• Take and process digital radiographs (X-rays)
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
• Ensure operatories remain clean, stocked, and prepared throughout the day
• Support patient flow and overall clinical efficiency
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-treatment instructions
• Follow OSHA, HIPAA, sterilization, and infection control protocols
• Help create a positive and welcoming patient experience for children and families
• Work collaboratively with the clinical and administrative team to maintain schedule flow

Qualifications
• Current Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certification preferred
• Current CPR/BLS certification required
• Previous dental assisting experience preferred
• Pediatric dental experience is a plus
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental software preferred
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Compensation & Schedule
