Shipping Specialist

Sage is looking for a Shipping Specialist to prepare packages and process incoming shipments for domestic customers. This role will work in a fast paced production environment and must be able to do multiple job functions. This role requires a high attention to detail, the ability to follow procedures, and has a low margin for error.Familiarity with UPS, FedEx, and freight shipments is a must. Strong computers skills, utilizing Microsoft Excel and the ability to learn proprietary programs.Essential Duties:Sorts and packs orders according to proceduresProcesses cartons utilizing automated and proprietary shipping systemsHelps maintain the shipping/receiving areas in a clean and orderly mannerCross-train to assist Production departmentsOther duties as assignedWork EnvironmentClimate controlled facilityRepetitive duties in a fast paced, high volume and dynamic environmentSome duties involve working in an ESD compliant electronic environment (safety glasses, wrist strap and smock must be worn)The noise level in the work environment is generally lowPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
