Role
The Medical Director, Endocrinology will provide medical leadership across diabetes clinical development programs, supporting strategy, study design, execution, regulatory interactions, and lifecycle management. This individual will work cross-functionally with Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Safety, Biostatistics, and Commercial teams to advance both pipeline and marketed products.
Responsibilities
- Lead clinical development strategy for diabetes and related metabolic diseases.
- Design and oversee Phase 1–4 clinical studies.
- Provide medical monitoring and safety oversight.
- Support regulatory submissions and health authority interactions.
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs on scientific communications and publications.
- Interpret clinical data and provide strategic recommendations to leadership.
- Partner cross-functionally with Commercial, Market Access, and Business Development teams.
- Mentor colleagues and contribute to a culture of scientific excellence.
Qualifications
- MD required; Endocrinology or Diabetology background strongly preferred
- 10+ years of Clinical Development and/or Medical Affairs experience within biotech or pharma.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and interacting with regulatory agencies.
- Strong understanding of clinical development, regulatory strategy, and lifecycle management.

- Must be willing to work on-site in Los Angeles, CA.
