Mechanical Designer – Bentley OpenPlant
Fort Worth, TX 76102
Contract-to-Perm | $35–$45/hr
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 3D design models and construction drawings using Bentley OpenPlant .
- Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure design accuracy and integration.
- Support plant design and mechanical layout efforts for power and industrial facilities.
- Review and modify models in Navisworks Manage for clash detection and coordination.
- Produce high-quality deliverables within project timelines and technical requirements.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience producing complex BIM models and construction drawings.
- Proficiency with Bentley OpenPlant , OpenBuildings , ProjectWise , Navisworks Manage , AutoCAD , and Revit .
- Strong understanding of plant design principles; experience with power plant mechanical systems a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and project teams.
