Yard Operations Associate

We’re looking for a dependable, hands-on team member to help support daily dealership operations. This position will assist with moving and positioning RV units, filling propane, operating a forklift, and keeping the lot organized and efficient. We are willing to train the right person and will provide forklift certification.

Job Responsibilities:

• Safely fill customer's propane tanks
• Verify that each propane tank is certified & has not expired
• If required, inform customers that their propane tank is expired & needs to be re-certified
• Maintain, clean and organize the lot
• Move RV inventory of varying size safely around the dealership lot
• Provide support for service & sales functions as needed
• Use mobile handheld devices as a GPS to find inventory on the lot
• Ability to learn through audio, visual, and hands-on training
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Must be able to pass a drug screen that includes a check for THC
• Valid drivers license
• Clean & insurance driving record 
• Experience operating tractors, construction equipment, forklift, or pickup & trailer not required ​ ​ ​ ​
• Must be able to safely lift at least 50 lbs
• Required to be on your feet for long periods of time

Compensation:

• $17 to $19 per hour

Schedule:

• Tuesday - Saturday | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

About Our Dealership

Bretz RV & Marine opened for business in Missoula, Montana, in 1967. Until then, Frank and Vi Bretz had been operating a service station and renting U-Hauls in central Missoula. A search for a new camping trailer ended up turning into a new business opportunity. Not only did the Bretz family get a new camper, they decided to get into the business of selling and renting small travel trailers. 

Today Bretz RV & Marine is still a family-owned and operated business with five dealerships across Montana and Idaho. We are fortunate to have grown from just over 100 employees to nearly 400 employees in the last five years. We do all we can to offer our teams an excellent place to work and advance in our company.
