Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including comprehensive physical assessments and meticulous reviews of medical records
• Assist in identifying and diagnosing surgical conditions through careful analysis of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment strategies for patients
• Provide intraoperative assistance, which involves preparing the surgical setting, ensuring appropriate patient positioning, and facilitating instrument exchange during procedures
• Deliver exceptional pre-operative and post-operative care, including the administration of medications, wound management, discharge planning, and guiding patient education

Education Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a surgical focus is highly preferred

Certifications Required

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Both BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant

• Proven capability to interpret diagnostic tests and engage in complex clinical decision-making
