Apprentice Electricians and Helpers

Location: Mitchell, SD
Duration: 1–2 months
Pay: $30–$35/hour, based on experience
Schedule: Overnight shift, 45+ hours per week

Skillforce is currently hiring Apprentice Electricians for a 1–2 month project in a prefab shop environment in Mitchell, SD. This is a great opportunity for an apprentice with a solid understanding of electrical fundamentals who is comfortable working with blueprints, bending conduit, making pigtails, and assisting with panel assembly.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow electrical blueprints and drawings
• Identify and install electrical outlets and components
• Bend and install conduit
• Make pigtail connections and terminate wiring
• Assist with electrical panel assembly
• Perform electrical wiring and assembly in a prefab shop environment

Requirements

• Previous electrical or apprentice experience required
• Understanding of basic electrical components and wiring
• Ability to read and follow electrical blueprints
• Experience bending conduit
• Experience making pigtails and basic electrical connections
• Panel assembly experience is a plus
• Comfortable working overnight shifts
• Must be local to the Mitchell, SD area

Pay & Project Details

• $30–$35/hour, based on experience
• 45+ hours per week
• 1–2 month contract
