What You'll Do

As a Project Engineer, you'll support projects from award through closeout while working closely with project management and field operations teams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Support Project Managers with day-to-day project administration and coordination
• Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking project progress
• Review plans, specifications, contracts, and project documents
• Coordinate with owners, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
• Participate in project meetings and help drive action items to completion
• Track submittals, RFIs, permits, and project documentation
• Assist with project cost tracking and production monitoring
• Support field operations and help ensure project quality, safety, and compliance standards
• Build strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders
• Contribute to successful project delivery

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering, or a related field
• Internship or experience in heavy civil construction preferred
• Understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation
• Strong organization and time-management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with field and office personnel
• Desire to learn and grow within the construction industry
• Positive attitude and willingness to take ownership of responsibilities
• Experience with construction management software is a plus
