- Pay: $25-$30/hr DOE + Employee Profit Sharing Bonuses

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic production team. This role is essential in ensuring the continuous operation and optimal performance of manufacturing equipment and facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of machinery and systems within a manufacturing environment, even things like plumbing and basic maintenance of the facility. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to operational excellence through technical expertise, proactive maintenance, and safety compliance. The ideal applicant will possess comprehensive industrial mechanic experience, strong electrical and mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues utilizing schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills.
- Operate and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial electricians' tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and low voltage testers.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks.
- Conduct welding operations using welding techniques as required for repairs or modifications.
- Maintain HVAC/R systems, including troubleshooting heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration components.
- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure machinery meets specifications.
- Work with field service teams on complex repairs involving high voltage systems or specialized industrial equipment.
- Adhere to safety protocols related to high voltage, low voltage electrical work, and use of scissor lifts or other elevated platforms.
- Support technical sales efforts by providing expert insights on equipment capabilities or maintenance solutions when needed.
- Assist in training team members on maintenance procedures or new equipment installations.
- Maintain detailed schematics and technical documentation for all repairs and modifications.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards for industrial maintenance and safety regulations.
Skills
- Extensive experience working within manufacturing facilities with a solid understanding of industrial mechanics and maintenance practices.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting PLCs, electrical circuits (including high voltage), hydraulics
- Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and maintenance tracking.
- Ability to read schematics accurately and interpret technical manuals effectively.
- Strong analysis skills for diagnosing complex machinery issues efficiently.
- Knowledge of industrial electrician practices including low voltage wiring and electrical safety procedures.
- Experience working with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers or calipers.
- Ability to operate scissor lifts safely in elevated work environments.
- Excellent customer service skills when collaborating with internal teams or external vendors during field service operations.
