Job Title: Traveling Project Superintendent Location: CO (1st project location), TN, FL and IL Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire Start Date: November 2Responsibilities:Direct daily field operations and ensure construction activities align with project plans and specificationsInspect completed and ongoing work for quality and compliance with construction documentsCoordinate subcontractors, equipment, and material deliveries to maintain project timelinesEnforce job site safety standards and ensure compliance with applicable requirementsTrack project progress, communicate updates, and resolve field issues proactivelyWork with project managers, architects, and engineers to address construction-related challengesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentBuild and maintain productive relationships with subcontractors, vendors, clients, and project stakeholdersVerify subcontract agreements and insurance documentation before subcontractors begin workMaintain project schedules and prepare weekly look-ahead plansPrepare pre-punch and punch lists, assign items to responsible subcontractors, and follow through on completionStrengthen client and owner relationships through consistent communication and effective coordinationRequirements:Construction – 10+ years experience in commercial constructionConstruction Superintendent – Ability to lead and coordinate diverse teams and manage subcontractor activities effectivelyConstruction Knowledge – Strong understanding of construction means and methodsConstruction Documents – Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, specifications, and other construction documentsProblem-Solving – Strong decision-making skills and ability to address construction challenges under tight deadlinesTravel – Willingness to travel to project locations as requiredCommunication – Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills for coordinating with project stakeholdersWork Ethic – Positive, proactive, can-do attitudeBenefits: Salary is open and negotiable based on experience.
