What You'll Be Doing
- Prepare fresh ingredients according to recipes and company standards
- Chop vegetables, prepare sauces, portion proteins, and complete daily prep lists
- Label, date, and properly store all food items using FIFO procedures
- Keep prep stations clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards at all times
- Support line cooks during busy shifts when needed
- Complete opening and closing cleaning duties
- Work with the kitchen team to ensure every shift is set up for success
What We're Looking For
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to stay organized and work efficiently
- Attention to detail and pride in quality
- Ability to follow recipes and food preparation standards
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Previous kitchen or prep experience is a plus, but not required. We'll train the right person.
