CT Technologist

CT Technologist - CT SCAN (St Jude Medical Center) – Per Diem, 10‑hour Variable Shifts Under the general supervision of the Manager Diagnostic Imaging or Supervisor CT Scan, the CT Technologist will perform a variety of computerized tomography (CT) procedures using the proper radiation safety practices. The technologist performs CT procedures for patients of any age group in accordance with department protocols, hospital policies, and regulatory agency standards. They assist radiologists and referring physicians as needed, work closely with other modalities, inpatient and outpatient CT departments, and act as a liaison to scheduling and referring physician offices. Required Qualifications Maintain required continuing education hours to renew license/certification. Upon hire: California Radiologic Technologist. Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association. Upon hire: National Registered Technologist – Radiography – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist – Computed Tomography. Minimum of 2 years hospital clinical experience from an accredited radiology program. Preferred Qualifications Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology from an approved AMA school.
