Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Contract Coordinator for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Bossier City, LA. This role is ideal for a professional with insurance, policy, contracts, administrative, or underwriting support experience who enjoys working with detailed documentation, compliance processes, and internal team coordination. The Contract Coordinator will support group medical reinsurance contracts, fully insured group policy documents, licensing maintenance, vendor communications, and client database accuracy. Key Responsibilities Review, interpret, and verify accuracy of group medical reinsurance contracts and notify the stop loss department of new stipulations. Review fully insured carrier group policies, including health, STD, LTD, Life, and AD&D documents, for accuracy and completeness. Check new and renewal group internal instructions for accuracy before distributing documentation internally. Maintain state licensing records for TPA operations and in-house staff with health and accident agent licenses. Complete client database entry and maintenance, monthly report posting, spreadsheet updates, scanning, filing, and shared drive organization. Communicate with vendors, internal departments, and business connections regarding new and renewal groups, Business Associate Agreements, and related documentation. Compensation and Benefits Pay: $15 per hour. Job Type: Temp-to-hire. Location: Bossier City, LA. Required Qualifications and Skills Review group medical reinsurance contracts and insurance policy documents for accuracy. Maintain licensing records, client databases, spreadsheets, and contract files. Communicate with vendors and internal teams regarding policy, contract, and renewal documentation. Support accurate processing of new and renewal group instructions. 3 to 5 years of relevant experience preferred for this Contract Coordinator role. Strong typing, 10-key, and Microsoft Excel skills required. Ability to read, interpret, and apply contract language, policy information, and detailed administrative instructions. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and follow-through. Professional communication skills with the ability to work positively with internal staff and external vendors. Consistent and efficient work habits in a deadline-sensitive office environment. Ability to scan, file, maintain PDF records, update spreadsheets, and manage shared drive documentation. Preferred Qualifications Prior insurance company experience. Experience with group health, stop loss, TPA, reinsurance, or fully insured carrier documentation. Familiarity with Business Associate Agreements, Protected Health Information, vendor coordination, or insurance licensing maintenance.
