Software Engineer (.NET)

Why This Role Stands Out Direct impact on a revenue-generating ecommerce platform Backed by a stable, growing organization with recent expansion Opportunity to rebuild and modernize core systems Highly collaborative, small team environment with strong leadership visibility Flexible remote setup with optional in-office touchpoints for local candidates What You’ll Do Design, build, and enhance a core ecommerce application Support and evolve existing systems while contributing to modernization initiatives Collaborate with leadership and business teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions Conduct technical assessments and recommend best-fit architectures and technologies Troubleshoot complex issues, identify root causes, and implement long-term fixes Lead development efforts end-to-end, ensuring high-quality delivery and performance Contribute to testing, QA standards, and deployment processes 5+ years of hands-on development with ASP.NET (C#, VB.NET preferred) Strong experience with: .NET Framework (4.8+) SQL Server / T-SQL IIS and Windows Server environments Experience building and consuming APIs (REST, JSON, XML) Knowledge of authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML) Background in responsive/mobile web development Familiarity with source control (Git) and modern development tools (Visual Studio) Strong understanding of web architecture, performance, and security Ecommerce platform experience Integrations with ERP/CRM platforms (Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, etc.) Shipping/logistics systems (UPS, FedEx) WooCommerce or similar platforms Preferred: Chicago-area candidates (easy access to Glendale Heights office) Open to fully remote candidates within the U.S. Occasional onsite collaboration is a plus, but not required Base Salary: $110K – $150K (commensurate with experience) Bonus: 2% – 8% annually based on individual and company performance Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements. #J-18808-Ljbffr LHH
