Law Clerk in Northern Nevada

Hooks, Meng & Clement (HMC) is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Law Clerk to join our growing team in Carson City. HMC concentrates its practice in Workers’ Compensation Insurance Defense, OSHA Employer Representation, and Industrial Insurance Litigation. We represent a diverse client base that includes employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators throughout Nevada. This position offers an exceptional opportunity for current law students or recent law school graduates who are interested in pursuing a career as a licensed attorney. Law Clerks at HMC receive meaningful hands‑on experience, practical legal training, and direct exposure to substantive case work while working alongside experienced attorneys in a collaborative and supportive environment. Our Law Clerks play an active role in the litigation process, assisting with legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, analyzing case law, preparing case summaries, and supporting attorneys in the management of complex workers’ compensation and industrial litigation matters.
