Courier/Independent Contractor

Position: Delivery driver (Large SUV or Van recommended) Job Type: Independent Contractor / Courier Schedule: Monday-Saturday Location: Fort Myers, FL 33917 Job Summary Ameriship Parcel Delivery is a medical overnight and courier delivery service operating in Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona, Missouri, Kansas, Florida, Colorado, Georgia and Illinois. We are the leader in Texas for pharmacy delivery, providing 1‑hour to next business day delivery. Position We are looking for full‑time and part‑time drivers in the Fort Myers area to pick up and deliver packages to residential and business addresses. Drivers will be independent contractors. This position is a Monday through Friday shift with Saturday availability. Drivers must be highly energetic, competent, and self‑motivated with a good sense of direction and excellent customer service skills. Punctuality, reliability, and delivery experience are required. Drivers must use handheld devices for each delivery and own a working smartphone. Applicants should be capable of lifting up to fifty pounds without assistance. Preference is given to candidates with verifiable work history with FedEx, UPS, or other parcel delivery services, but all applicants will be considered. Route length varies; typical workday is 7–10 hours on average. Driver Requirements Valid driver's license Reliable vehicle; larger vehicle (cargo/sprinter, large SUV, or box truck) may be required for some routes No DUI/DWI within the last ten years Pass background verification Availability Mon‑Fri; routes expected to be completed by 7 pm Ability to do pickups between 4 :30 pm and 7 pm on a weekly rotational basis Pay & Contract Contract position.
