Job Title: Wrapper/Strapper Packager

Employment Type: Full Time   

Location:  Kinston, NC

Pay: $ 17 per hour     

Schedule: Monday- Friday, 7am-4pm

Job Summary:          

The Wrapper/Strapper Packager is responsible for preparing finished products, materials, or shipments for storage and transportation by properly wrapping, strapping, securing, labeling, and staging items. This position ensures products are packaged safely, accurately, and in accordance with company quality, production, and shipping requirements. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Count product in bundles or boxes

• Complete packing detail sheet

• Move bundles of finished goods using forklift

• Operate heat torch to wrap bundles in heat shrink plastic

• Ensure bundles are correctly labeled with shipping labels

• Stage wrapped bundles in the to-ship lanes keeping lanes organized

• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

Required Qualifications:   

• Forklift operation experience

• Reliable transportation

• Must be able to lift 50lbs unassisted

• Ability to retain product knowledge quickly and efficiently

• Pay attention to detail

• Maintain a productive pace throughout the workday

• Able to work a flexible schedule when needed

• Maintain a clean work area   

Preferred Qualifications:  

High school diploma or GED preferred.
