Job Responsibilities
  • Design Tailored Treatment Programs: Assess patients' unique needs and create personalized therapy strategies to facilitate their path toward achieving their functional goals.
  • Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply research-driven methods to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily living capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work in close partnership with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver holistic care for every patient.
  • Educate Patients and Caregivers: Instruct patients and their families on therapy approaches to maintain momentum in their recovery journeys once they return home.
  • Track & Document Progress: Regularly monitor clinical outcomes and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure patients remain on track.
Education Requirements
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Continuous learning and any post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported.
Certifications Required
  • Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
  • NBCOT certification (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) is mandatory.
