Pharmacy Technician

Location: Leesport, PA
Type: Contract-to-hire (W2) • On-site • 40 hrs/week
Pay: $24.45 per hour ( Shift differential: +$1.00/hr for 2nd shift)

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• 2nd Shift: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM

Job Summary

We’re seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support daily pharmacy operations in a fast-paced setting. You’ll work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist and assist with prescription fulfillment, IV preparation support, medication packaging, inventory activities, and delivery coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions and assist with IV preparation under pharmacist supervision
• Enter prescription/billing data accurately to support reimbursement processing
• Prepackage medications following standards and applicable regulations
• Assist with final-check workflow (staging for RPh review; packaging after approval)
• Coordinate accurate and timely medication delivery
• Receive/stock/rotate medications and supplies; track lot numbers & expiration dates
• Support physical inventory and general inventory controls
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment; check equipment for calibration/safety/cleanliness

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work effectively under pharmacist supervision
• Organized, timely, and able to maintain confidentiality/compliance
• Solid communication and teamwork skills
