- Maximizes sales with excellent customer service, product knowledge, and ongoing post-sale support.
- Finds and taps into local marketing opportunities and cross promotional opportunities such as gyms, local businesses, personal trainers and fitness groups.
- Explains to customers the advantages and unique product attributes of a wide array of individual fitness machines across a variety of manufacturers.
- Builds referral programs with experts such as personal trainers, nutritionists and interior designers.
- Works in a team environment based out of the local showroom. Ensures that each customer receives outstanding guest services by providing a friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of customer service.
- Ensures appropriate merchandise stock levels, merchandise adjacencies and presentations; signing and assorting in all departments; also, ensures selling floor is adequately stocked.
- Directs and is engaged in sales, inventory-taking, reconciling cash receipts, or in performing services for customers.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with the drive to meet and exceed goals
- Resourceful and creative solution-finder
- An appreciation for health and wellness and a general understanding of the fitness industry.
- Flexibility to work some nights, weekends, and some holidays.
- Flexibility to float between Somerville NJ, East Hanover NJ, and Fairfield NJ
$35,000-$45,000 Depending on Experience
