Job Description Job Description Maintenance Technician / Handyman Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Bring your skills to a team that values hard work, craftsmanship, and community. We are looking for a dependable Maintenance Technician who takes pride in keeping properties well-maintained, safe, and welcoming for tenants and visitors. What You’ll Do: Respond to maintenance service requests for two buildings in a timely manner, typically within 24–48 hours Prepare buildings for tenant tours by ensuring common areas are clean, presentable, and ready for visitors Maintain lobby areas in both buildings, including sweeping, removing trash, and mopping as needed Perform daily property inspections to ensure the buildings are clean, functional, and well-maintained Complete preventative maintenance to help keep building systems operating efficiently Handle emergency repairs as needed Coordinate with vendors or complete repairs directly when appropriate Learn and assist with security/access control software, including access card management Be available for weekend emergency repairs when necessary What You’ll Need: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks Basic HVAC knowledge Strong work ethic and a positive, team-oriented attitude Dependability, attention to detail, and pride in quality work Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, and comfortable working independently. This person should be able to identify issues before they become larger problems, communicate professionally, and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for tenants.
