Project Manager - Land Development Design

Project ManagerSoltesz is rapidly growing and is looking for key managers to help us continue to provide outstanding service to our clients. The Project Manager position is located in our Lanham, MD office and will be responsible for providing direct supervision and mentoring of design staff, including team engineers and designers. This position will also be responsible for providing mentoring, client contact, as well as handling project financials, profitability and client satisfaction.Essential job functions include:Client management, project managementLeadership and mentoring of staffStaff supervision, quality control, workload and staff planningDevelopment of proposalsMaintenance of project schedules, budgets, and invoicingOversee employee performance, providing regular feedback and recognitionWork together with senior leadership team to accomplish company goalsProvide excellent and responsive client serviceBusiness developmentQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Civil EngineeringProfessional Engineer (PE) registration in Maryland required10+ years' progressive experience in civil engineering land development design, preferably in suburban Maryland.Prince George's County experience is a plus.5+ years' experience managing staff, technical skills to develop and review plans and work with engineers, planners and surveyors.Excellent organizational and delegation skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills
