Restaurant ManagerPrioritizes, directs and coordinates the activities of a restaurant to continually strengthen the Brand's position and maximize its sales and profitability.Essential FunctionsPeople:Management Staffing/ Development: Cover 100% of shifts with MICs capable of running great shiftsTeam Member Staffing/ Development: Cover 100% of the shifts with adequate staffing in all key positionsSuccession Plan: Active plan for key positions (GM, AGM, SL, TT)Employee Morale: Ensures fair & equal treatment of all employees, follows-up on VOC action plans, provides good & timely performance evaluations and addresses all employee concerns with urgencyManagement Training: Teaches & delegates recruiting techniques, training & coaching skills and the evaluation processCoaching: Able to raise the performance of employees through effective coaching skillsCompliance:Government Laws: Ensures strict compliance with applicable lawsCompany Policies: Ensures strict compliance with all company policies and addresses all violations with urgencyFinancials:Inventory and Labor: Understands the KPI's of Inventory & Labor controls and capable of Controlling them to expectationsFollow-Up: Follows up Daily on Sales, COS and COL variancesVerify and sign off on weekly and period end inventories and payroll for accuracyProblem Solving: Able to Troubleshot/Correct COS, COL, Ops variancesManagement Training: Teaches & delegates to the management team the key points of ordering, projections & scheduling, daily key cost awareness/ reaction and P&L analysisStrives to drive year-over-year growth in Sales and ProfitOperations:Delivers attentive, hospitable and quick customer service on 100% of shiftsDelivers good Food Quality on 100% of shiftsProvides a clean and sanitary environment for customers on 100% of shiftsConsistently raises the bar for Group & Brand standardsUnderstand, communicate, and execute Group & Brand standards and initiatives on all shiftsAssets:Consistently maintains exterior/ interior grounds & facilitiesCorrects all asset deficiencies with urgencyEliminates any potential for liability with urgencySafety:Creates a store culture that makes safety Priority #1Strictly enforces safety rules and policies on 100% of shiftsResponds to all safety concerns with a high degree of urgencyEnsures that safety is a priority for all employees.
