Quality Control InspectorReporting to the QA Supervisor, the primary role of the Quality Control Inspector is to conduct outbound inspections and inventory management. The Quality Control Checker adheres to all company guidelines, policies, and standard practices, at Houston Location.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentExperience & Skills:1-2 years of experience within the produce industryPrevious experience in quality control or a related field preferredStrong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues quicklyFamiliarity with warehouse operations, including palletization and truck loadingExcellent communication skills to collaborate with team members effectivelyAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracyExcellent communication skills (verbal and written)Excellent problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-taskProficient in MS Office as well as inventory management softwareValid Driver's License and ability to travel domesticallyPrincipal ResponsibilitiesConduct in-process and final product inspections before loading trucks to ensure compliance with quality standardsEnsure the quality and appearance of product, packaging, and pallets, including verifying proper stacking and secure placement of productsCollaborate with production/warehouse and logistics teams to maintain efficient and accurate loading processesIdentify and document non-conformance issues, escalating to management as needed, and promptlyAssist in maintaining and improving quality assurance protocols to meet company standardsPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs., as neededComfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
