Location: Council Grove, Kansas

End Date: 11-04-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and treat patients to restore function and mobility
• Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans of care
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Techs in line with practice acts
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and families to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MSPT, or BSPT)
• Active Kansas Physical Therapy license or the ability to obtain one
• Strong communication, documentation, and clinical skills
• Flexibility to adapt to different facilities, schedules, and patient needs

Education

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT/MSPT/BSPT)

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in physical therapy assessment and patient evaluation
• Skilled in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
• Proficient in documentation and medical record keeping
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration
