Warehouse Associate (1st Shift)

The Warehouse Clerk supports daily warehouse operations by labeling products, assembling packaging, and preparing orders for shipment in a steady, laid-back environment. This role involves repetitive tasks, basic material handling, and careful adherence to work orders and instructions to ensure products are processed accurately and efficiently. 1st shift: 8am-5pm Monday through Friday*

Responsibilities

• Label products with stickers in a consistent and accurate manner throughout the day.
• Assist with general warehouse tasks, including packing up customer orders for shipment.
• Assemble and make boxes needed for packaging and order fulfillment.
• Set up the work area each day according to work orders and written instructions.
• Read and follow work orders and instructions to complete tasks correctly and on time.
• Stack boxes safely and efficiently to maintain an organized warehouse space.
• Operate a pallet jack to move stacked boxes and materials around the warehouse.
• Lift items up to 35 pounds as needed during labeling, packing, and material handling.
• Perform repetitive production and packaging tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
• Support other warehouse and general production activities as needed to meet daily operational goals.

Essential Skills

• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds safely and repeatedly as part of daily duties.
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and read work orders accurately.
• Comfort with performing repetitive tasks while maintaining consistent quality.
• Basic experience with warehouse, packaging, and general production work.
• Ability to operate a pallet jack or willingness to learn with proper training.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in general warehouse labor, including some light assembly work.
• Familiarity with labeling processes and packaging workflows.
• Attention to detail when handling products and following instructions.
• Reliability and willingness to help out where needed across warehouse tasks.
• Comfort working in a small, family-owned business environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Garfield Heights, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00/hr.
