As an Allied Universal Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, issue and track badges, and support visitor and employee check-in. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with site leadership and staff. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients and guests by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location. Control access at entrances and gate points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, managing sign-in logs, and directing visitors, contractors, and deliveries to the proper check-in areas. Monitor and document inbound and outbound traffic including employees, visitors, and commercial vehicles, and report irregular activity according to post orders. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by post instructions. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by client site. Minimum Requirements: Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
