Join Sacopee Rescue Unit Inc as an AEMT Paramedic, where you will play a vital role in providing high-quality emergency medical services to our community. We are seeking dedicated professionals who are passionate about patient care and thrive in fast-paced environments. Responsibilities:
- Administer emergency medical care and treatment to patients in pre-hospital settings.
- Assess patients' conditions and provide appropriate interventions based on protocols.
- Operate and maintain medical equipment and vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with other emergency responders to ensure effective patient transport and care.
- Document patient care and treatment accurately and in a timely manner.
- Participate in training and continuing education to maintain certifications and skills.
- Provide compassionate support to patients and their families during emergencies.
- Adhere to all safety and regulatory standards in emergency medical services.
- Valid Maine AEMT or Paramedic certification and CPR/BLS certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in emergency medical services preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
- Ability to work in high-stress situations and make quick decisions.
- Current driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of local emergency protocols and procedures.
- Commitment to teamwork and community service.
- Physical fitness to perform essential job functions and duties.
