Under the direction of the shift supervisor and/or the shift team leader, the CDL Shuttle Driver will be responsible for the loading and delivery of products to/from the plant to the warehouse in a manner consistent with all safety, quality, and operational work instructions. Schedule: 6am-2:30pm on Thursday and Friday and 6am-6:30pm Saturday and Sunday.

Essential duties and responsibilities include: safely operating the shuttle vehicle on each trip, following all applicable laws and company policy, accounting for records involving trailer numbers and position of vehicles, functioning and interacting on a daily basis with warehouse supervisors and complying with warehouse safety requirements, communicating using cellular telephone or 2-way radio with operations, and warehouse personnel in a courteous and professional manner, maneuvering trucks into loading and unloading position, following signal from loading crew as needed, and performing other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum required qualifications include: a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), Class B CDL license or higher, required, and a clean driving record. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations include satisfactory completion of Commercial Driver's License (CDL) for tractor trailer operation.

Other duties include: performing other duties as assigned, working overtime as dictated by business whether mandatory or voluntary, working in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during the warmer and colder months can range from mild to moderate, reading and following manufacturer's instruction manuals, accomplishing tasks in a timely manner, strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently or within a group, ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance, and effectively adapting to change and thriving in a stimulating, fast-paced work environment.

Physical demands include: occasionally bending, frequently walking and standing, constantly sitting, ability to lift/carry and push/pull 11-20 pounds, reach above shoulder, squat, or kneel.

Work environment includes: rarely exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and the noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
