We are hiring a Maintenance Planner at our Oriented Strand Board (OSB) facility located in Fordyce, AR.The Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime. This role partners with production, maintenance, and contractor teams to manage work orders, secure necessary parts and resources, and support preventive and predictive maintenance programs that improve overall plant performance.The shift for this position is a Day Shift position, Monday-Friday, with typical working hours from 6:00am-3:00pm CST. This includes, but is not limited to overtime, holidays, and weekends scheduled as needed.Our Georgia Pacific facility in Fordyce, AR manufactures Oriented Strand Board (OSB), compressed strands of wood chips that are bound together by adhesives which prevent moisture intrusion. This type of OSB is used for floor, wall, and roof sheathing in residential and light commercial construction applications. To learn more about our Building Products division, please visit offer our employees the following:Variable Pay: In addition to base pay, operators may be eligible for variable pay, provided as a monetary bonus, based on performance metrics and production targets.Competitive Benefits Package: As part of Koch Industries, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401k with company match, and much more.What You Will DoEnsure maintenance work is planned in a proactive method by ensuring all activities are appropriately scoped, estimated, resourced, and in ready state prior to start of workSupport the execution of maintenance work by receiving, planning, estimating and coordinating maintenance work ordersIdentify the need for additional resources and communicate needs to Maintenance SupervisorEffectively use the CMMS to develop and maintain the maintenance schedule, manage equipment data, update Bill of Materials (BOM) for assets, and develop standard maintenance procedures (SMP)Identify and recommend opportunities for improvementsMaintain essential maintenance records and filesScope work and assess the requirements for routine, planned down day, and annual outage activitiesVerify the availability of parts, materials and tools required to perform a job prior to executionCreate purchase requisitions for contractor labor and support storeroom management effortsEstimate the time and resources required for maintenance activitiesEngage in the plant's safety culture and be a leader in risk managementEmployees may be assigned to various departments throughout the facility. Following is a list of physical and environmental demands for these departments :Work in a hot, humid, dusty, and cold environmentPerform work in an outdoor environment, exposing one to the elementsPerform tasks such as lifting up to 40 lbs., walking, stooping, standing, repetitively pushing and/or pullingWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)High School Diploma or GEDExperience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Two (2) or more years of experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, or military environmentExperience repairing manufacturing machinery and/or electrical equipment (i.e. pumps, valves, motors, transmitters)What Will Put You AheadExperience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)Experience with MP2 softwareExperience in coordinating and supervising contractorsExperience as a maintenance or outage planner within manufacturing facilityExperience with planning/scheduling within a manufacturing industrial or military environmentAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
