That's not a skill you're born with. It comes from reading tomorrow's schedule tonight, knowing what's coming, and setting the room up so the day runs instead of stumbling. If that's how you already work, we want to talk to you.

SmileHQ has taken care of families in Prince George's County for over 20 years. We move fast, we run a full schedule, and we need someone in the back who thinks two steps ahead.

Requirements:

• Maryland Dental Assistant license (Maryland State Board of Dental Examiners) — current and in good standing
• Maryland Radiation Technologist / dental radiology certification
• Current CPR/BLS

What you'll actually do:

• Read the schedule before it happens. Know every case coming through the door, set the room, pull the tray, and have it ready before the patient sits down.
• Assist chairside like you've been to dental school. Anticipate the next step. Know what the doctor needs before she asks for it.
• Prep and fabricate crowns. Temps that fit, seat clean, and don't come back.
• Take radiographs — clean, diagnostic, first try.
• Scan. Intraoral scanning and digital impressions — or be genuinely willing to learn it fast. We'll teach you.
• Log and track every lab case. Sent, due, back, seated. Nothing gets lost, nothing gets found the morning of the appointment.
• Own the supplies. Know what we're low on before we run out. Nobody should ever be hunting for something mid-procedure.
• Flex to the front when it's needed. You don't have to run the schedule, but you should understand it — and be able to help a patient at the desk without saying "that's not my job."

Who this is for: You're proactive, not reactive. You notice things. You'd rather be handed a room and trusted with it than told what to do every ten minutes. You're a real teammate — when your side is done, you look around and see who needs help. You take pride in a case seating well.

Who this isn't for: If you want to be told exactly what to do, every time, and go home, this isn't the room. We're busy, we're growing, and we lean on each other.
