We are seeking a locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to be part of a dedicated anesthesiology team at a Level 1 trauma center. This position offers flexible day shifts and a collaborative environment, ideal for experienced professionals looking to make an impact in patient care.
- Deliver anesthesia care for a variety of inpatient surgical procedures, including general surgery and neurosurgical cases.
- Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative staff.
- Provide preoperative assessments and patient education.
- Administer anesthetics safely and monitor patients throughout surgical procedures.
- Manage ventilation and oversee physician-administered regional anesthesia.
- Respond to patient emergencies in coordination with the healthcare team.
- Document patient care and anesthesia management accurately in Epic EMR.
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
- Work variable shifts of 8, 10, or 12 hours, with no on-call or weekend requirements.
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Required
- Active Michigan RN License - Required
- NBCRNA Board Certification - Required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certifications - Required
- Full-time availability - Required
- Clean Malpractice/License History - Required
- Willingness to work flexible day shifts - Required
- Experience required; new graduates will not be considered.
- Michigan RN License - Required
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification - Required
- NBCRNA Board Certification - Required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certifications (AHA) - Required
