Packer-StackerGeneral Purpose of Job:Pick loaded boxes off of conveyor and place on pallets, per customer specifications, and send through automatic shrink wrapper.Essential Functions:Gather materials as neededInspect quality of tape on box and tape boxes shut that were missedVerify codes and date on boxRetrieve an empty pallet once the previous pallet is full and places on floor or wrapper conveyor (on the ground)Pick box off line conveyor and stack on appropriate pallet in preparation for shippingApply labels to boxesOnce pallet is stacked as directed, push the pallet down the rolling wrapper conveyor to the shrink wrap machinePerform work in a fast paced environment, maintaining production and quality requirementsPerform various housekeeping tasks to ensure work area remains clean and tidyMaintain knowledge and adherence to all safety policiesPerform all other duties as assignedThis is a summary of essential functions associated with this particular position and does not necessarily limit this job title solely to the essential functions listed in this document.
