Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $45,000–$48,000 per year (Based on Experience)

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, reliable, and motivated General Manager to oversee daily operations at our Church's Chicken location on I-10. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, experience in fast-food restaurant management, and the ability to maintain high standards for customer service, food quality, cleanliness, and profitability.

We are seeking someone who can take ownership of the restaurant, lead their team effectively, control operating costs, and ensure the business runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth, efficient service.
• Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and supervise restaurant employees.
• Manage labor costs, food costs, inventory, and waste to maintain profitability.
• Monitor daily sales, restaurant performance, and operational expenses.
• Maintain high standards for food quality, customer service, cleanliness, and food safety.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve operational issues professionally.
• Monitor employee performance, attendance, and productivity.
• Ensure accurate cash handling, deposits, inventory counts, and daily reporting.
• Maintain proper staffing levels while controlling unnecessary labor expenses.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health department regulations, and food safety procedures.
• Communicate regularly with upper management regarding sales, staffing, expenses, and restaurant performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase sales.
• Lead by example and maintain a professional, positive, and accountable work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant management experience required.
• Fast-food or quick-service restaurant management experience strongly preferred.
• Previous General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience preferred.
• Experience with Church's Chicken or similar fast-food restaurant brands is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing employee schedules, labor costs, food costs, and inventory.
• Ability to work independently and make effective operational decisions.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Must be dependable, professional, and results-oriented.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as needed.
