Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other functions may be assigned as business conditions change. Work withGeorgia Poultrycustomers to understand their repair needs Give customers recommendations on the best parts & equipment available atGeorgiaPoultrywith which their needs can be addressed Repair/replace faulty parts & equipment in area poultry facilities Properly bill customers for service work hours Work with theGeorgiaPoultryin-store team to manage warranty claims Take advantage of training opportunities offered byGeorgiaPoultry Equipment Companyand by it’s vendors Skill/Knowledge Required: The ideal candidate will have the following experience/educational background: Ability to use tools associated with the repair of electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems Approved safe driving record Familiarity with the poultryproduction industry and the poultry producers in the area preferred Knowledge of parts and equipment used in modernpoultry productionfacilities At least 2 years of prior experience repairing and replacing electrical and mechanical equipment is required Prior experience working with the systems found in modernpoultry facilities (e.g. ventilation, feeding/watering, heating…) is preferred Hog Slat Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, gender,sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin, age disability, veteran status or any other reason prohibited under Federal State or local laws.
