Pelican Bay Foundation is the premier luxury community in Naples, FL. One of the area’s largest exclusive enclaves, situated on more than three square miles and bordered by pristine white-sand beaches, our community offers the most diverse slate of amenities and activities anywhere in the region, and we are seeking a part-time Desk Attendant to join our Fitness Center team, in Naples, FL.

The Foundation manages all common areas, including two beach facilities and two private beachfront restaurants, two tennis facilities, two boardwalks, the Fitness Center and Wellness Studio, the Community Center, and approximately 90 acres of land.

The Front Desk Attendant serves as the primary point of contact for all members and guests entering the Pelican Bay Fitness Center and Racquet facilities, supporting high-volume, multi-amenity operations that process 60,000–80,000 annual check-ins, the highest traffic level among HOA-managed fitness and tennis centers in Southwest Florida. The role is responsible for delivering exceptional member service, ensuring accurate and efficient check-in procedures, coordinating all Tennis operations, and managing scheduling for Personal Training and Massage Therapy services. Success in this position requires strong multitasking ability, professionalism, and the capacity to support two major amenities simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

What You’ll Do

Tennis Operations Support

• Tennis & Pickleball check-ins — Manage all Tennis check-ins, guest registration, and court-related inquiries.
• Tennis & Pickleball member issues — Assist with member concerns and route issues appropriately.
• Tennis & Pickleball communication — Stay current on schedules, programs, and facility updates.

Facility Support & Operations

• Opening/closing procedures — Complete checklists to ensure safe, ready-to-operate facilities.
• Facility cleanliness — Maintain organization of proshop, blowing pavilion and courts, lobby.
• Equipment assistance — Provide basic equipment guidance (not program design).
• Equipment maintenance support — Clean equipment, identify issues, and report malfunctions.

Safety, Compliance & Administration

• CPR/AED certification — Maintain certification and emergency-response readiness.
• Policy enforcement — Uphold Fitness and Tennis rules professionally.
• Incident reporting — Document and report member feedback or incidents.
• POS & transactions — Process Fitness, Tennis, and Spa transactions.
• Team meetings — Attend quarterly meetings and required training.

High-Volume Operational Environment

• Traffic management — Support 60,000–80,000 annual check-ins, the highest volume among HOA fitness/tennis operations in Southwest Florida.
• Multi-amenity coordination — Serve as the central hub for Pickleball, Fitness, Tennis, PT, scheduling and inquiries.

Required

• Customer service experience — 1–3 years in hospitality, recreation, fitness, or similar.
• Communication skills — Strong verbal and written communication.
• Professionalism under pressure — Ability to remain calm and courteous in fast-paced settings.
• Basic math & recordkeeping — Accurate, legible recordkeeping.
• Reliability — Consistent attendance and performance.
• Independent work — Ability to operate with minimal supervision.
• Background requirements — Successful drug test and background review.

Preferred

• Amenity-based experience — Fitness, tennis, wellness, or private club background.
• Software familiarity — POS systems, MindBody, or similar.
• CPR/AED at Hire

Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated successful experience of 1-3 year in which the primary responsibility is providing courteous and responsive services to customers, guests, or members in a customer-related organization
• Must be an effective communicator and an active listener when dealing with members, guests, co-workers, managers/supervisors, and inter-departmental staff
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds
