We are currently seeking a motivated and clinically driven *Physician Assistant (PA)* to join our expanding Cardiology department. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider looking to grow within a supportive and fast-paced cardiology environment.

*Position Summary:*
The Physician Assistant will work closely with our cardiologists to evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions in an outpatient and/or inpatient setting. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, compassionate PA who thrives in a collaborative environment and has a strong interest in cardiology.

*Responsibilities:*

* Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including detailed medical histories and physical examinations
* Assess, diagnose, and manage both acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions
* Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests (EKGs, stress tests, labs, imaging, etc.)
* Educate patients on disease management, medications, treatment plans, and heart-healthy lifestyle modifications
* Document clinical encounters accurately and in a timely manner within the EMR system
* Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to coordinate comprehensive patient care
* Assist with hospital rounds, consults, and follow-up visits as needed
* Maintain compliance with clinical guidelines, regulatory standards, and organizational protocols

*Qualifications:*

* Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
* Current Physician Assistant license in the state of Texas
* NCCPA certification required
* Prior cardiology experience preferred;
* Motivated new graduates with a strong interest in cardiology are encouraged to apply
* Strong clinical judgment, communication skills and critical thinking
* Ability to work independently while thriving within a collaborative team environment
