Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies. Oversee external reporting requirements, including statutory reporting, lender or stakeholder reporting, and other required disclosures as applicable. Research complex accounting issues, draft technical accounting memos, and recommend appropriate treatment for non‑routine transactions. Coordinate internal and external audit activities, manage prepared‑by‑client requests, and support timely resolution of audit findings. Maintain and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting, including documentation, testing support, and remediation of identified gaps. Review reconciliations, journal entries, variance analyses, and reporting packages for completeness and accuracy. Partner with finance, tax, treasury, legal, operations, and systems teams to gather data, validate assumptions, and improve reporting quality. Monitor changes in GAAP and other regulatory guidance as relevant to the organization, and lead implementation of new requirements. Drive process improvement, automation, and standardization initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency, control, and insight. Support special projects, ad hoc analysis, executive presentations, and other strategic finance initiatives as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. CPA or equivalent professional accounting designation strongly preferred. 8+ years of progressive accounting or financial reporting experience, including leadership responsibility. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial statement preparation. Demonstrated experience managing audits, technical accounting issues, and month‑end or quarter‑end close activities. Experience leading teams and developing staff in a deadline‑driven environment. Advanced proficiency in Excel. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills with strong attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex accounting matters to non‑technical stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and exercise sound professional judgment. The estimated salary range for this role is $136,000-$175,000 , based on your experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be confirmed as part of a personalized offer.
