MHM Services of California, a Centurion company, is proud to provide healthcare staffing to the California Department of State Hospitals.We are currently seeking a full-time Dietetic Technician to join our team at Atascadero State Hospital located in Atascadero, California on the beautiful central coast.$23.00 Per hour + medical, dental and visionM-F 8am - 4:30pmThe Dietetic Technician is responsible for assisting Clinical Dietitians in the development and implementation of nutritional care plans for the client/patient population in state hospitals. The Dietetic Technician assists in monitoring client/patient tolerance and acceptance of the diet, developing and presenting training programs for food service/hospital staff and hospitalized patients when assigned.BS in Nutrition is requiredValid registration with the Commission of Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requiredKnowledge of principles, practices, and theories of nutrition and dietetics; methods of planning, preparing and serving food to a large number of persons; and special dietary requirements of mentally or developmentally disabled persons and other client groupsAbility to apply the principles and practices of nutrition and dietetics; communicate nutritional data to the healthcare team and food service employees; keep records and prepare reports; analyze situations accurately; and adopt an effective course of actionMust be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)Indmhm #J-18808-Ljbffr Centurion Health
