Parts & Service Coordinator
Farmingdale, NY
$19.00 per hour
Are you organized, customer-focused, and skilled at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment? Our client is seeking a Parts & Service Coordinator to support a busy appliance service operation. This position plays a key role in ensuring timely parts procurement, coordinating service activities, and delivering exceptional customer support. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys customer interaction, problem-solving, and working in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule
Training Period
- Monday through Friday
- In-office
- 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
After Training
- Monday through Friday, in-office
- 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
- Rotating schedule with every other Saturday (8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, remote)
- One weekday off during weeks that include Saturday coverage
Responsibilities
- Track and manage appliance parts orders from initiation through delivery
- Expedite shipments and follow up with manufacturers to obtain delivery updates and estimated arrival times
- Communicate with vendors and manufacturers regarding order status and availability
- Answer incoming service calls and assist customers with questions and service-related concerns
- Update service tickets and maintain accurate records within company systems
- Coordinate with technicians and service management to ensure efficient scheduling and service completion
- Resolve customer issues professionally while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
