Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting students from Pre-K through 12th grade. This school-based role begins as soon as possible and extends through May 27, 2027, offering consistent hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:15am to 3:30pm (35 hours per week). You’ll have the chance to work in a collaborative educational environment, making a lasting difference for children and adolescents of all ages and abilities.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active Illinois SLP licensure and PEL (Professional Educator License)
• Preferred experience in a school-based or pediatric setting, but open to dedicated new graduates
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload spanning early childhood to high school
• Familiarity with IEP processes, progress monitoring, and goal writing
• Comfortable using technology platforms for documentation and teletherapy, if needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with a range of speech and language needs
• Deliver direct therapy services in accordance with IEP goals and school policies
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for students
• Maintain accurate records of assessments, progress notes, and interventions
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing insight and recommendations for service delivery
• Adapt therapy strategies to accommodate varying learning styles and abilities
