About the Position

# Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse – Texas Hill Country**Start Date:** September 15, 2026**Location:** Fredericksburg, Texas**Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants**Schedule:** Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, rotating every other weekend, no on-call required**Highlights:**- 10-bed Intensive Care Unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4–5- Manage critical cases including STEMI protocol, stroke protocol, conscious sedation, chest tubes, codes, and intubations- State-of-the-art equipment including Phillips monitors, HillRom beds, Omnicell, GE EKG machines, Lifepak 20e defibrillators, Lucas devices, and Verathon bladder scanners- Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech Expanse- Supportive team environment with 12 nursing staff members including dedicated charge nurses on each shift- No floating to other units required**Requirements:**- Active Texas RN license or ability to obtain prior to start date- Minimum 3 years of recent ICU nursing experience required- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications- Previous experience in a charge role or leadership capacity preferred- Strong critical thinking skills, ability to multi-task effectively, and capacity to work independently**Why It's a Great Opportunity:**This position offers the chance to provide life-saving critical care in a close-knit team environment where your expertise will make a direct impact on patient outcomes.
