Overview

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for Med Surg patients, including assessments, care planning, and ongoing evaluation
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses; manage IV therapy as ordered
- Perform nursing interventions such as wound care, mobility support, vital sign monitoring, oxygen therapy, and catheter/drain management
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop, implement, and update individualized care plans
- Document accurately in the electronic health record; ensure timely and complete charting
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, discharge instructions, and self-care after discharge

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of RN Med Surg nursing experience
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Current RN license applicable to the assignment
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts
- Must be eligible for travel assignment and compliant with credentialing and onboarding processes
- No local candidates within 50 miles
