Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Laurel, Maryland. This role involves providing specialized perioperative care in general, orthopedic, gynecological, urological, and plastic surgery cases. The position requires proficiency in orthopedic and GYN procedures, with a focus on delivering excellent patient care in a fast-paced environment. Job Details Required Qualifications: Active MD or Compact State RN license, BLS, ACLS certifications; experience with orthopedic and GYN cases; 2 years of relevant OR experience preferred; ability to work days, Monday through Friday, from 07:00 to 17:30, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Schedule: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts, from 07:00 to 17:30, flexible schedule. Additional Responsibilities: May require float to other OR locations within scope as needed. Handling diverse general OR cases including abdominal, orthopedic, GYN, urological, and plastics. Certifications: AC LS, B LS, CN OR, NIH SS, CPI certification (online version from designated vendor) is preferred. Experience: 0 years minimum experience required, with a strong OR skill set; first-time travelers with relevant skills are accepted. Additional Information: Possibility of working on holidays as scheduled; no weekends or on-call required; orientation period of 24 hours.
