Your impact This position is ideal for applying advanced geologic concepts to practical environmental, hydrogeologic, and site characterization challenges for government and private-sector clients.Based in the United States as a hybrid worker attached to one of our offices, you’ll participate in a variety tasks related to planning, evaluating, and implementing environmental investigations and remedial actions. Here's what you'll need • Bachelors or Masters in Hydrogeology, Geology or other closely related technical degree • At least 15 years of experience in groundwater investigations and remediation• Ability to lead projects and interface directly with customer/client • Experience with fate and transport of contaminants, hydrodynamic interpretation of groundwater flow, aquifer testing and interpretation, CERCLA/RCRA knowledge, and understanding of numerical and analytical modeling tools. • History of effective collaboration with multiple technical disciplines including experts in environmental engineering, chemistry, and risk assessment to complete remedial investigation and feasibility studies (or equivalent documents for RCRA or State programs). • Demonstrated experience presenting technical information and interpretations to clients and regulatory stakeholders • Experience supporting project managers and business development professionals in winning and delivering complex environmental site characterization and remediation projects for federal clients. Ideally, You’ll Also Have: • Professional Geologist (PG) certification• Experience investigating sites with emerging contaminants including PFAS and 1,4-dioxane desirable. • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) to communicate effectively with clients, project managers, project teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
